Description
The Cylindrical lock entrance in American style cylindrical lock set with latch is available in a passage, privacy and locking option. It is now widely used in India. Its advantage is that all doors are prepared with a 51mm diameter hole at 70mm from the door edge and a passage set, privacy set or locking set is fitted depending on the door function. These knobs can be locked from either inside or outside.
Both inside and outside handles unlocked unless outside handle is locked by pushing button on inside handle. Outside handle unlocked by closing door, turning inside handle, or outside emergency turn slot.
Passage, Privacy or Locking Sets
The passage set is suitable for internal doors and as it is a non-locking knob set, it allows free access at all times. For bathroom or bedroom door use the external knob on the privacy set has an emergency release, whilst the inner knob has a centrally located privacy turn. The locking set has a centrally located locking turn and is unlocked from the outside by the turn of a key.
