Dear Sir,

We are constructing a individual house at an area of approx 1000 sq.ft. G+1
It is now at the roof level. There are 17 columns. Builder used the below for columns.
9x12 - 4 nos 12 mm rods and 2 nos 10 mm
9x9 - 4 nos 12 mm rods
I have attached the image file of the plan. ( 9x12 - red colour, 9x9 - blue colour) Kindly let me know if this is strong enough for G+1 or G+2 and if any additional strengthing is required as my friend suggested 16 mm rods should be used in place of 12 mm.

       You have taken decision late. This can be done from foundation. No use to strengthen the column at roof level  when the base is weak, the load ultimately transferred from top to foundation. Do not worry.
