Dear Friends,

I am planning to hire a consultant (Engineer) to oversee my construction work. I am sorting out his tasks as below. My layout plans is designed by same engineer. Labor/Civil contract is given to contractor and I will supply required material to contractor.

1. Beam Design
2. Regular visit to construction site and review the progress
3. Door and Window design
4. Electric wiring design and points drawings
5. Sanitary work design and drawings
6. Elevation Design

These are some of out requirements. What else can I add to this list.

What is right cost/fee to him in terms of % of total construction or SFT ?

Construction site is at Hyderabad.
