 Topic: Cost Estimate
Hi ! It is my favourite Forum. I'm from KOLKATA, WEST BENGAL.
              It is a plan of 1st Floor measuring super-built area of 35x22 ft of which carpet area is only 32x20 ft. Total land is of 50x28 ft south facing of which south and west sides both have roads. I want to keep the Ground Floor vacant. There are twelve (12) numbers of 1x1ft piller carrying the house. Exterior walls of 1st Fl will be of 8" wide and partition walls will be of 6" wide.
          Please provide total cost estimate approximately. Foundation will be of 5 ft height from outside-road. I wish to use all accessories of high qualities including paint, steel, brick, wood and marble flooring.

Join date: May 2014		It will cost you around 6-7 lac's per floor.

      It is not clear that you want estimate of first floor or first floor with ground floor pillar etc.

Join date: Jul 2011		Thanks Mr. Jai Prakash and Mr. S. L. Gupta. As such, I always try to keep myself updated about this forum as far as possible. Actually, I want to know the average estimation of the house including complete first floor in all respect with ground floor pillar etc. What will be the average total cost ?

Thanks for providing the links. I'll go through it.

Join date: May 2014		We measure the total costing as 100-1200/Sq.ft. of the total covered lantel area.

Join date: May 2015		First the walls are not 8" and 6" in india it is 9" and 4.5" thick.
You marked that the plinth is 5' high and ground floor as stilt floor and first floor as residential floor.
it will cost you between 18 to 25 lacs depend on specifications used.
