|  Topic: Door Frames
Hi Guys,
I want to have a door frames of bigger size, i,e size of the door frame will be the size of the wall depth / thickness, Suppose the wall is 9" thickness, the frame will also be like 9" and the joint / gap between the frame and wall will be closed by the architraves, (for your information wall is made of burnt bricks)
I have been requesting this to my contractor but he is not aware of such door frames types, and he is not confident enough to make this as he feels its difficult to get the finishing at joints in case of brick walls, He is comfortable with the old type of frames 65mm x 125 mm for me which does not give that elegant look,
Please can anyone advice me some wood supplier / carpenter in BANGALORE who is familiar with this type of work, I have seen such type of frames installed in all the prestige latest houses, I have attached picture for your reference,
Appreciate if you can advice me on the ASAP,
Also if anyone can help me with the procedure to fix these frames, Should this frames be fixed before plastering or after plastering,
