Topic: Exhaus fan with Chimney

Do i need to install Exhaus fan if i have a chimney? I have an open kitchen (6*8 feet) which opens up to the main hall.

Robert Monroe Join date: Dec 2011	Personally, I think that an exhaust over your cooking area is really important just so you could direct the flow of smoke to whichever way you see it fit. Though it would not totally avoid any form of smoke lingering in the area because there are other air factors that actually contribute to it going any way it is directed to, by air. Get something that blows it outside so it will move faster.
