 Topic: Height of slab / ceiling
Hi,
Please answer my question.
Does slab / ceiling height really affect inner temprature of room? What should be standerd height of residential home? specially in hot climate like Indore, Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh).

Dear Panchal

         In the intermidiate floor ceiling height have negligible effect of inner room temperature.In single story house or top floor  low ceiling height can increase the inner tempertaure and ceiling height varies from 2.4 to 3.3 meter. The extent of reduction of temperature with increase ceiling height is of order of 0.3 degree C for every 30 cm of single story building.
