Hello, my house is 30 yrs old and all doors are made of shisham. Now we are doing some modifications in drawing room and lobby. there is one entrance door already into the drawing room. Broken two walls and have installed two additional door frames (choukhat)in drawing room and one chaukaht in lobby.since shisham is not available now a days and i cannot afford sagvan wood. iam really confused between two choices for constructing doors as below. Pls guide1)one option is to make doors from board and sunmica.... 2) other is to use marandi wood as door frame and ply in between with some additonal design by using two more marandi frames in between ply. questions below 1) which option is better of the above two ? 2)which ever option you recommned, should i place an order on a shop to make doors and then install at my home.iam really worried since for marandi door, shops are asking advance and 15 days time and 2 days time for boaord doors or should i bring the raw material and getdoord made at home ?3) Oh god, there are many local boards available and local ply .. which one to choose ? |
