Hi Everyone,I purchase old G 1 house which has 12 columns of 15x9ft, All corner 10 columns has 12mmx8rods and two center pillars has 20mmx4 and 16mmx4 rods (load bearing). Now I'm planning to construct 2nd

       The strength of the column can be known if there is structural design available for laid column. In the absence of design detail no one predict about that they will bear the load. In this situation have help from local structural engineer, who can inspect site and see the condition of concrete and also about steel reinforcement and foundation.If columns are capable of taking the load than the question arises for arrangement of beam on old column.
