 Topic: I have constructed a house which is north facing. In the front (Centre) side of
I have constructed a house which is north facing. In the front (Centre) side of the house there is a electric pole. This pole is not in front of main gate but come in front (centre) of the boundary wall and I way it is also in front of door of drawing room. Please tell me its ill effect and remedies. I can get the pole shifted maximum by 2-3 feet will it help.

Dear Mr. Anuj,

Any type of obstacle from air or light like electric pole, telephone pole, water tank, tree etc in front of main entrance o compound wall is called ”Dwarvedh”. That mean there should be no obstacle there .

According to vastu, if there is a obstacle at the double of the distance of the building’s height i.e if the height of your building is 25 feet and obstacle (electric pole) is 50 feet away than this is not considered as vastu dosh. And if electric pole is under this, you may hang 'Bagua' mirror in a way that it reflect back the shadow of pole.

It will be better if you ask a vastu consultant near you, who can assist you according to onsite location and direction etc.

Join date: Oct 2012		Are you inquiring if it is in good Feng Shui position? If yes, better to find a Feng Shui expert that could interpret your design.
