I want to buy a house facing south. Please suggest whether south facing house is

Hello Mr Anil,

If you are sure that the Main entry of the house is facing a complete South without any deviations like south-south west or south south east, it is okay. However the internal placement of rooms, toilets and kitchen are also equally imp. In a South facing house chances are that the bedrooms will be in North, Northeast, East with attached toilets. This will then pose a problem.

south is the direction of Yum.So according to vastu its a not a good option.But if the main entrance by which you enter in to the house is not in south then its ok.

south facing houses are not good as per vastu ethics but, why you go near Yum Direction when other people wish to purchase a house for happyness and not for a joke? because it is a lifetime asset.

 even then if you are adamant then it can be made good with certain interior layout changes depending upon  vastu ethics, the size of plot, front or rear openings, sizes of all rooms and their conectivity to each other.

think twice before taking such a costly decision.

all directions are equally good- provided you adhere to all the basic tenets of Vastu, you can make a happy living.PL see that-

The space in west and south between the wall and house is less compared to that in the east and north.

The southwest corner is rightangled and is not deformed.

The northeast corner is equal or longer than the southeast and northwest corners(never shorter)

The kitchen is in southeast corner,with you facing east while cooking.

Locate the toilets in northwest,with drains going to the east and further outside

Sump/well in northeast away from diagonal.

Southwest is taller with OHT, while northeast is the lowest.

Please find attached an image about the Main door location. This is only to help you understand that every direction has certain locations which are appropriate for Main Door. This includes South. Also note that in North also not any direction is appropriate for Main door location. However to ascertain the correct locationtions you should take the help of a professional vastu expert. Off hand informations only lead to confusion.
