This is what I found,
"Since the main objective of Vasthu Sastra is to maximize the energy inside the house, it is recommended not to have arched doors and windows as they distort the energy flow."

At our house we have Lord Ganesha tile right in front of Main Door. Is it auspicious as per Vastu placing Lord Ganesh tile exactly in front of main door?
Door is placed at east, one when enters from main door faces west while entering.
What should we do best as per Vastu? | | |

If you looking for modern house design you can find different type of arch in main door . | | |

Lord Ganesh symbolizes prosperity. So if you have Ganesh marked on tile which is placed on right side of main door, try to place it on the top of main door. It is good to place Ganesh yantra, Swastik or any religious symbol on the top of the main door. It suppose to bring blessings and exhaust negative energy from house. | | |
