 Topic: WHAT MM STEEL REQUIRED FOR 48 FEET HIGHX12''X18'' COLUMN
Dear Sir,

Please advised me that what type of steel rod required for 48 feet high x 12'' x 18''column & 9'' x 12'' beam,where building will be g+3rd each roof will be  1900sft.

Please advised me.

Join date: May 2014		Use 24 mm TMT for 12x18 column and 16 mm for 9x12.

             The proper way of find out MS Steel bars number and  diameter is to derive from structural drawing based on calculation of span of column load coming on beam and column, earth quack safety factor. So it is advised to take proper design from any structural engineer which will better in long run saves cost  of MS steel and take factor safety.
