Minor crack in the roof concrete

 Topic: Minor crack in the roof concrete
Dear friends,

Good morning .

Recently we kept roof concrete .
While pouring water for curing ,we could see the minor cracks on that .( not in all the places . Only 4 square.feet area approx.) 
What may be reason ? Is it ok ?

Join date: May 2015		By many reason minor cracks on upper surface of concrete produced.
If cracks are not going under more than 5 MM than no need to worry.
Cracks develop due to discharge of air in concrete from rich cement slurry.
You say that only 4 Sft area have cracks it show that some other problem like
1- Shuttering is loose in this area and vibrate after concrete.
2- Cement content increase in this particular area.
3- Roof level in this area is rise more than cover.
4- Soil content mix in mortar in this area.
5- Oil add in concrete from vibrator in this area.
To identify best reason its need to check on site.
If cracks are not going under more than 5 MM than no need to worry.
Otherwise need to remove concrete of this area and re concreting with adjoining chemicals.

Join date: May 2014		It is very common after the Lintel get dried. No need to worry as it has not to be left open. Please tell your vendor to cure it to avoid any leakage issues in future.
