What is the thumb rule of column, beam and footing sizes for a G+4 building? What is the thumb rule of steel bar sizes required for column, beam and footing.

           There is no any thumb rule for column footing and MS Steel used in footing and column. The design of column, beam and footing is calculated according to load bear by the column, beam, factor of safety, earth quack factor, bearing capacity of soil etc.

Join date: May 2014		There is no such rule. The structure engineer measures the load and design the same.
