Topic: Nood in vastu - Correct/suggest my house plan

Dear members,

It’s a real nice forum out here. I need some help from you all on my house plan. I have attached the plan for my house. It’s a 200yrs land, with 1000sft built up area. The house is east facing .I tried some googling and set my house plan as attached. Please correct/suggest me the changes according to vastu.

1.       When you say some direction for the home, do we have to consider the plot area or the buildup area?

2.       My Elder brother is also considering constructing house beside mine. So we thought of not leaving any space between two houses. The top side of the flat shown in the picture will be joined with his flat with no gap.( This basically gives us some good amount of space on the south side of about 6ft. ) Is that good/bad according to vastu?

3.        Also I heard that 201 is a good number when it comes to house. So we are planning to get 201 A/201B. Does these are still good compared to 201?

4.       Over head tank will be placed to the south west side. It is a plastic black tank. Sump will be to the lower side of axis drawn from the SW to NE.

5.       Even though the construction related topics are not allowed here, just have couple of questions. Can the Salwood door frames good enough or should we go for teak only. Also what gauge wire /brand should be used for house?

Thanks

Post subject: Suggessions - from Mr. V.Ramakrishna, Vastu cons...

I had looked at your Plan,

Plan is OK, but one main thing I noticed is that the Space (distance) from Building North side to Boundry wall, is Less than the Space (distance) from Building South side to Boundry wall.

Always North side to Boundry wall from Building wall distance to be more than that of the South (even by 6 inch more), unlike in yours. So if ossible make that alteration. Leave more space at North.

1) Direction means it applies to PLOT, Building and also individual rooms. Not limited to Building only.

2) It is not advisable that south side of Building more than that of North side.

3) Door Numbers doesn't really make much difference in Vastu, But odd number is good as per numerology.

4) Over head tank  tank at South-west is OK. But Sump to be at Nort-east advisable either East side (or) North side , but not placing on the AXIS intersecting South-west and North-East.

5a) Use Teak wood Frame for Main door and Sol-wood frames for other doors, no problem.

5b) Use of Power for main power Transmission cables to Lay  individual rooms 2.5 mm2 from Main circuit breaker, and for individual Lights , Fans , etc.. use 1.5 mm2 cables. (Use 4 mm2 Cables for Air-conditioners and Heaters.)

Thank you so much for your reply Ramakrishna Sir. I will do the changes accordingly.

There are changes in the plot area and construction area (Biggere rooms, but the plan is same). Will consider all the above points in new plan as well.

One final question. Is the pooja room at right place? or does it need any changes
