 Topic: Outer main wall to compound wall outer 10'9" distance. We constructed first flig
Outer main wall to compound wall outer 10'9" distance. We constructed first flight of step(3') from outer edge of compound wall.Now from main wall to inner edge of first flight is 7'9". So I need to extend cantilever zone for 7'9" to land the second flight on roof. Span width is 10'.Cantilever beam length is 7'9".i.e area of cantilever zone is 7'9" * 10'.Out of this 10' span one end I'm having cantilever beam and remaining there is no more beam. So is it safe to give concealed in middle and also at other end.If is please tell me that how to provide reinforcement.Thank you

        In my opinion it is better to contact any structural designer for this job, who will design after consideration of all factor and taking in account safety factor.

Join date: May 2015		Concealed beams are not good enough to bear load.
Cantilever beam on both end are required.
Other options possible as per site position required to contact.
