How to make pillar of 4 x 7 from ground level to first floor height to make chajja of 20 x 3 ft

I have a balcony of 20 x 3 on first floor. I intend to extend this balcony by 1.5 ft, so chajja will become 20 x 4.5. for doing this, I need a pillar support on one side along the boundary wall. The pillar, I feel should be of 4 x 7 inch, so that it goes inside the boundary wall. I hope, it clarifies now.
