Dear Mr. Gupta,
Thanks for the answer.
This means that if the building height permitted is 15m, ie 49.5 feet, I need to finish the rest of the building within 47.5 feet ( 49.5 less 2 feet ), correct?

Join date: Mar 2008 | Dear Ajay You should clarify about height from sanctioning authority. Rise of stilt floor is beneficial, i.e after some time road level will be raised than rain water enter in stilt floor.

Dear Mr. Gupta.
Thanks for your prompt answer.
One last clarification: as per MCD rules, will it matter to them if they have sanctioned on map to me height of stilth as X feet and building as Y ( total X plus Y) but I change X slightly to X+1 and Y yo Y-1 so that total still remains X plus Y?
Thanks
AW

Join date: Apr 2012 | as per i know as i m also building stilt +4 floor u should keep clear height in parking of 7 feets & above lenture to lenture should be 9 feet 6 inch so total will be 7feet+5lenture(2feet 6 inch+beam in parking(9inch))+9.6 x 4=48.3 inch so u can now calculate how much u can keep ur above road level..but keep a check on all levels as some contractors do this little mistake n mcd wont harm u in any way but it would be trouble for getting electricity connection if ur building height is above limits..so keep a check | |
