 Topic: RBC roof design
For a double storeyed masonary structure what shouldbe the structure for RBC roof for a span of 27'x14' with a 7'9'' verandah with brick columns.(6'5" c-c spacing)
First floor roof will have solar panels.

          Please have structural design  from structural engineer or send plan of the house with showing position of brick pillar etc.

              After review your plan, I am in view that lay 3 nos beam one in the middle of hall, one on the toilet wall and one on the pillars.Use 12mm dia steel bars for RBC roofing at 12.. center to center.
