 Topic: Roof Weathering
After RCC completion Weathering with Cement is Good or Purt mosaic tile fixing is Good.Which one is better leak Proof?
otherwise any other methods are there for weathering. Please advise.
after some years we are plan to construct first floor but not sure for that case which one is best?

        Clay tiles/ brick tiles is the best option for roof terracing. Do proper bitumen coat on roof surface and lay bitumen coated sheet and lay earth at required slope and lay tiles and grouting with cement mortar, cure it. If you want flooring after some years than remove tiles and earth and lay brick ballast on roof and lay required floor.

Join date: Jun 2016		Hi Mohan! Based on my professional experience I would advise using a waterproof cement mixture rather than tiles. In my experience, while both may be effective in the initial stages, tiles will be more susceptible to leakage in the long run. What works best I find is to use a polymer-modified cement based waterproof coating on the roof. Since it is an acrylic reinforced compound it keeps the water out and also lasts for a long period of time. I usually use Roff Hyguard as I like the quality as well as how easy it is to use.
