 Topic: Safety : For my 1 year old child
Hi experts.

My arch has given this stair design / map, as we want to separate 1st floor entry.

But i have seen these stairs in my friends house and they seem to be eating up lot of space and looks unsafe for my 1 year old baby (he'll be 2 years when house in completed)

We want stairs very comfortable also, as mom and dad are 70 plus.

Please suggest so it covers our 3 points, or is arch design the best we can have will all points ?

1. Child Safety
2. Separate entry (Dual Door GF & FF) privacy & yet dual usage
3. Very Very Comfortable up and down (better than we normally use)

    You should go to Architect and give your requirement to him and get design as per your requirement.

I am taking second expert opinion, many time more brains get innovative ideas,
so just seeking some other options...

Please suggest and check the attachment i have given.

Join date: May 2014		Go for SS grills with no edges and minimum gap between them. The grills are only for safety from any accident on stairs.
