Shuttering Plywood

Allthough it doesnt make it its role into the permanent materials, but selection of a good shuttering plywood makes differnece to the cost and use of later repair works.

for smaller Villas , the difference it can make wont be noticable. But obvious for the high rise buildings.

Number of uses we can achieve highlight the importance in selection of a suitable shuttering plywood.

 Filmfaced Shuttering plywood.

18 mm - 13 ply, 100% birch core, WBP Glue, Dynea brown film - Expected usage upto 12 times (both sides)

18 mm - 11 ply - 100% birch core, wBP Glue, Dynea brown Film - Expected usage upto 8 times (both sides)

other variations are use of 9 ply,  Combi core (poplar + Birch) and the 100% poplar core, with Dynea brown film.

poplar core abosorbs water and get swollen reducing the number of time it can be re-used.

use of Polythene sheets and shuttering oil increases the number of times  shuttering plywood can be used.

Selection of suitable quality shuttering plywood with a good shuttering oil reduces of risk of honeycombing
