Respected Sir,

Can you give the procedure and some important points for Structural Design of a Residential Building.

          While doing the structural design we want the span of the beam and slab.
Weight of the member which is to be designed is taken.
Super imposed load  or Weight  coming on the beam or slab to be taken.
Tensile stress of steel to be taken.
      After collecting the data it can calculated with the formula for designing the beam and slab.
