 Topic: Temporary Accomodation
Hello, I am planning to construct a hostel for students in a 6000 sft area.i have enough land for it. I want to do a ground level building with 6000 sft plinth area. I do not want to use RCC. Please advise the best roofing solution which is cost effective and good looking. Also please let me know the approximate cost of construction per sft.

          For roof you should go for T-iron and stone slate which are replaceable and can be use any where or you can built first floor as these can be take load. Cost may be around Rs 800-00 per sft..

Join date: May 2014		Yes as suggested use T-iron roofing, it reduces cost atleast by 150-200/sq.ft.
