concrete work stop at in middle

Topic: concrete work stop at in middle

    hai..sir          if any concrete work (retaining wall,slab,column,footing etc.....)         it is happen to stop the work.. for any reason but what is our responsibility as a engineer to start the work to next day means precaution to take and also at what stage only we stop the work

Dear Rasool
           The concreting in beam should not be stop in midway, in case of  slab it should be stopped on the middle of wall or middle of beam. Next day starts the work after curing the old work after applying the cement shullary on the old joint.
