Dear Sir,

Is it ok to build an 4.5" thick brick wall  (for 16x10 bedroom) as the inner wall that is of 16' in length and 10' height having a bedroom door.

Dear mohan,

It is ok to construct 4.5” thick brick wall. Care should be taken that wall should be constructed with cement coarse sand mortar 1:4 and it should be bonding i.e. proper jointing with the adjoining wall by proper toothing. For more details see the articles at gharexpert.com link given below.

 never should be thickness of  4.5" bcoz its not a strong wall it should be 6" inner wall and 9" exterior wall that's a standard to build as well as this wall will be strong .

It is not correct, unless u dont have any roof beam. Half brick wall is not at all considered as load carrying wall. It is just acting of filler walls.

Suppose, ur building is constructed as framed structure, it is ok. otherwise dont take risk. Can u send me ur roof slab and roof beam status and location? or mail me.
