 Topic: earth filling under floor

plz guide me 
as per contractor , earth has been filled in the plot about 5 feet .Afterthat he watered the underground layers by using "sabals" deep in to the soil then he watered the whole surface. When the soil dried completely he rammered the whole surface.  In this way he watered and rammered the surface , not in layers
Now I want to start flooring . Is the procedure used by contractor right or it will give problems .
what should I do

             5feet earth filling is a risky for floor. The way of flooding the filling is right.
I thing you my lay the floor of tiles or marbles etc according to your choice.
It is better to lay base coat with brick ballast and than lay cement concrete on it ( as katcha layer ) for flooring and use it for some time, than any type of depression if any than correct it and lay the final floor.
