 Topic: foundation plan.
i have a problem im putting up a foundation near a swampy place and the trenches are filled with water on the lower side. the soil is more of a riverside.
Please advise on how you can put up

Join date: Oct 2011		Hi Patrick, making a home near a river body is always a risky matter. The soil as you rightly pointed out will be swampy. The foundation in this case becomes very essential for a sustainable home. An expert advice would be what you need before you go for it. Ask the expert if the soil can sustain the weight and weather the foundation will be affected or not. Good luck.

Hi Patrick

I am sure u can make it. Do as if u are extending your foundation and make sure you lay some pipes which will be used to continuously drain water from the area. Your foundation and slab work should include reinforcement b metal bars and mesh. Ask some technical help from someone technical near you how best to set these tools.
