i wana construct a 18X14 feet hall single story .Is 9x9 column at corner os sufficient with no live load

    At corner 9''x 9'' column is sufficient but in 18' length middle column is also required.

With the help of these  knowledge we are now able to supervise our own home construction and undrstand the calculation behind it.
