Although many threads / discussions are here in ideas and how tos, the is no discussion on the optimum size of various rooms like kitchen , bedroom, living rooms in an average house with present set of equipments and disucssions.
So what will be optimum sixe / dimensions of various rooms like:
kitchen with fridge, stove, mixe, microwave and sink
Drawing room with a 3 seater and two one seaters and a TV
bed rooms with a double cot, wardrobs and a small study table
This will be of great help for first time builders. What I am thinking is some think is one like in the Neufert's encyclopediac book.

Thanks for the prompt answer. But what I am asking is not the minimum size, but the optimum size. That one that feels neither too big nor too small. Actually I feel this is a tricky question. But once it is answered and make sticky to the forum, every body can compare their plans with it and form an opinion whether the area shown in the plan is ideal or not. This is because only a few ordinary folks can interpret dimensions in paper.
In my opinion, a 60 ft kitchen will not comfortably accomodate all the items found in an ordinary home kitchen like fridge, sink, gas stove, mixie and / or wet grinder, an induction stove or micro wave etc.
Similary a 250 sq ft living room may be too big and a waste of space. a 3+1+1 set can be accomodated in about 150 sq. ft.
Experts and other hon'ble members may think of it.
