hello experts I would like to know the various quality of flush doors available with or without chokhat. I m building my home n would like to be in budget so asking u. which kind of wood u would recommend me for chokhats n flush  doors...somebody told me chokhat of chaap is okey bt it catched termite my idea is for teak.would it be costlier or too expensive.?

Hello...! Gaurav.The teak wood is too expensive for Frames of door/windows.The Sal wood ( Sarai)is good for frames and it can be covered with teak wood molding beads to give a look of Teak wood.The Sal wood is a very strong and durable ,earlier it was used under Railway lines as Sleepers.here at Jabalpur its rate is around 1400 to 1600 per Cu.ft. For Door shutters ..Teak wood panel door or Teak wood frame with teak ply can be used,
