Topic: mix design of rcc slab

According to indian standar we can use 1:2:4 , 1:1.5:3 and 1:3:6 cement sand and cores aggregate but for 12'x18' maximum size hall  and 10'x10' room size which mix design are use and what is the thickness of slab. sand are of zone 2.

1:2:4  will  be  appropriate. thickness  should  be  5"

Dear Singh

       The right way for fixing the ratio of cement concrete, thickness of slab and quantity of MS steel. These should be according to the structural drawing.

 However For laying RCC slab use cement concrete 1;1.5;3 because this ratio is necessary keeping in view for earth quacke safety. The thickness of slab for hall should be 5'' thick.and for room it should be 4'' to 4.5''.
