 Topic: position of partition wall
Hi!, Thanks to all who are going through my simple question. In my floor plan the partition walls in the Gr. and in the 1st floor are not in a straight line. Is it  necessary to put the partition walls in the 1st floor as it is laid in the Gr. floor ? If not doing so (i.e., not laying in perpendicular line in both the floors) then do the partition wall(s) on the 1st floor produce extra load on the Gr. floor ?
 Please give your valuable suggestions . Thanks.

      For laying partition wall at first floor on RCC slab, lay extra MS steel bars under the proposed partition walls.
