 Topic: weather proof repair reg
Dear SIr,
  
   We have constructed house 15years before and we used natural material  on top floor terrace to stop leakage rain water .we also used small bricks ,cement mortar added with natural resin. so far no problem and recently seen dampness on first floor ceiling during rainy season. it seen most of the areas. what is the remedy? can i repair full terrace or using coating? what type of coating ? kindly guide me
whether I have to remove entire small brick to repair ? or remove everything upto concrete and plaster and paint the latest whether proof coating  or put light cement motor on small brick and paint with coatings available?

I have added pict of top for your reference

I also add some damages done because of this on ceiling below the room.How to repair this damage? do I remove bottom plaster and re plaster or remove some rusted rod and inserted to new rod and plaster ?

Kindly give your suggestions please

            In my opinion,
     You should remove the old material and relay
Clean and dry the roof surface than apply hot bitumen @ 1.65 kg per square meter than lay polythene sheet on bitumen surface while some what hot.
Lay 1'' thick mud faska that mud with tura.
After this lay good earth accordingly to maintain proper slope rammed and lay brick tiles with mud. After that grout the surface with cement coarse sand mortar 1;3.
If needed do 1;2 flush cement pointing and cure it at least for 7 days.
