Can you guide with stone finish finish walls for exteriors.which stone or tiles are best for exterior walls??

I am constructing a house in Goa.I would like to have stone finish for exterior walls as the maintainance will be easy and Will save me from painting the walls every now and then.I am not aware which stone is best suited for this purpose and also will give elegant look to the house.

please help.
