What precautions should be taken while constructing leakproof Slab

Dear prashant, I feel Vastu suggests a bed room in SW while the Kitchen in SE or NW corner; that apart wash platform (MORI) if attached to kitchen on GF may be placed below Bathroom on FF. An integral sunken slab sloping towrds outer wall in the bathroom at the 1st floor may also help. I too am facing leakage problem from FF after 8-10 years, making me lose faith in contractors. People suggest.

Epoxy Flooring

Friends, I feel terrazo flooring of sort is most commnly used flooring by middle income groups. When newly laid it looks very nice but daily swiping with wet cloth dipped in domestic detergent spoils its lookas also it collects assortment of colored spots. I wonder if application of some sort of epoxy layer can improve the logivity of good look od the flooring and dado work (and of couse how much .
