Water filling after laying the roof (lintel)

One of my friends is constructing his house. the Lintel/Roof was laid on March 25, 2012. However, due to some problems with the contractor, the contractor deserted. The problem is; the water which was filled until 29 March morning, leaked and none was there to fill water on the newly constructed roof. It was without water for over 30 hours, until my friend who was out of station, reached and arran.
