Recurring Cracks

My house is undergoing maintenance ,I used Dr Fixit's CRack X to get ridding of crack on the plaster at the joint of RCC lintel and Brick wall and filled JK Wall Putty but surprisingly these cracks re occurred with a week,does any one have a solution.Lot of bloging sites (mainly from out of India) are  recommending to  put fiber mesh on crack  and plaster with 43 grade cement and make grooves.Will.
