Roof flooring

How do we do the flooring on the terrace ? Masioner is suggesting to do the flooring using sand and cement as the floor thickness is coming around 1.5 inch. He is suggesting to use coarse aggregate only if the thickness is more than 2 inch. Please provide expert advise. .

Terrace water proofing

hello : need expert advise. I am going for tiles on terrace. I have been advised the below steps for water proofing the terrace on terrace.1. Apply 2 coats of fosroc brush bond on terrace slab.2. Add water proofing chemical in the concrete mix of tiles laying. Can some one advise me the detailed steps of water proofing while going for tiles laying on terrace. regards,Ravi.

Floor thickness

Hi I would appreciate what is the normal thickness for the concrete fllor for Tiles. my tiles person is telling we need to got for 3 inches thickness of flooring including tile thickness. my concern is if the slab can take the load of 3 inches weight of the floor thickness. .
