Door Frames

Hi Guys,I want to have a door frames of bigger size, i,e size of the door frame will be the size of the wall depth / thickness, Suppose the wall is 9" thickness, the frame will also be like 9" and the joint / gap between the frame and wall will be closed by the architraves, (for your information wall is made of burnt bricks) I have been requesting this to my contractor but he is not aware of such .
