Vastu Layout For South Facing Plot - www.vaastudrishti.com - sabina vanjani"s channel - ALL channels

This is one of the projects I have done. It involved planning a Vastu compliant house for a South facing plot. The size of the plot is 45/24 feet. The plot faces all the South directions which are unfavorable for the residents. The only favourable direction is the first half of South which implies PutraBhojan/Dhan Labh. After dividing the plot into 16 directions exact South was determined. The first half was then earmarked for the Main Gate. A second door is given in the North from the Drawing room which opens into an open area of 5 feet in NE. The water boring is also placed in the NE sector.Inorder to make the NE light the Drawing room is planned in the North to NE. The dining room is in the East and the kitchen in the SE.

The Masterbedroom is in the SW and the 2nd bedroom in the NW-NNW. The staircase is planned in the SSW area in order to make it heavy. The bathroom is planned in the NW-NNW corner. Though the bath/toilet could have been planned in the SSW but a toilet at the entry is against Vastu principles. Therefore a South facing building is planned as per Vastu principles.

This layout was deisgned also keeping the needs and requirements of the client in mind. The family who has to use this house is ja oint family and do not have much options in the given size of the plot. Also they wanted the Drawing room in the end. As for the kitchen it is not visible on entry since it has a passage. the person who enters will not see the kitchen. Rest the interiors can be done in such a way that it complements the layout. There are houses where there is a lobby or a small sit out before entering the drawing room. I have myself seen houses where the drawing room is seprate and not visible on entrance. Some people do not appreciate that everyone who comes should be invited to the drawing room. A small family room kind of space is provided for informal sitting and the drawing room is used ocassionally.

in this ype of layout i feel you cannot invite any relatives/friends as the kitchen and bed has occupied the front portion;you cannot ask everybody to enter thro kitchen or bedroom

I beg to differ about what you have to say. I feel that you are not clear about the basics of Vastu.
SSW denotes EXCRETION or a zone for toilets. Having a toilet or a staircase is ideal in the SSW.
A bedroom in the SSW would mean that the mind would be more occupied with useless and unproductive thoughts.
A Puja room in SSW is the biggest blunder. Any person today would be able to tell that the best place for Puja room is NE.

Thanks

This doesn't match with Vasthu principle. Some defects are:
Steps at SSW.
There should not be Bath rooms in SSW.Bed Room/Pooja Room is the best chois at SSW
