Which type of wall plastering is recommended for protection from the cracks?

The following type of wall plastering is applied for protection from cracks:

To avoid cracks, Earthen Plastering is applied. Clay in Earthen Plasters is Hygroscopic (water absorbing). Earthen walls can help to temper interior humidity.

The Cement Plaster having Lime mortar will allow free cyclic movement of the building.

If any minor cracks arise in the lime mortar, there will be a natural migration of free lime through the mortar which will self heal cracking.

Two coats of plaster are applied.

The second coat is applied when the first one is dry.

If the plaster contains a cement or lime stabilizer, spray the plaster coat twice or three times a day with water during the first days of drying, especially during hot weather to reduce the cracks.
