What is the method to fix a curtain wall?

Curtain wall is generally made of Aluminum frame with glass, metal panels, stone veneer and open windows or ventilation. This can be fixed by grouting the side and central mullion (middle member) to the floor to which it is resting and the side should be fixed by grouting the hold fast in the side columns or walls abutting; the curtain wall and the top are also fixed with the member of the building covering the curtain wall.

Curtain wall does not carry any load from roof or any other part of building other than its own dead load.The dead load of curtain wall is transferred to the main building or structure through connection at floors or columns of the building. It is used to resist air and water infiltration, wind forces acting on the building and to bear its own load.
