Kota stone is a limestone widely available in Ramganj Mandi, Dist. Kota.
Kota limestone is available in four colors with various finishes.

Kota Stone Physical Properties are-

  • Hardness - 3 to 4 on Moh's Scale  (approx.)
  • Density - 2.5 to 2.7 Kg/cm3          (approx)
  • Compressive Strength - 60-170 N/mm2   (approx)
  • Water Absorption -Less than 1%            (approx)t
  • Porosity - Quite low
  • Weather Impact = Resistant.                so it's ur choice u can take dis or thermal insulated tiles.bt my advice is for thermal insulated tiles.bcz thermal insulated tiles are better than kota stone flooring.

KOTA STONE IS GOOD FOR OPEN AREA,BUT I WOULD ADVICE YOU TO GO THERMAL INSULATED TILES WHICH RESISTS HEAT TO COME DOWN.BUT THESE ARE RARELY AVAILABLE IN ALL CITIES.
