The recommended applications of POP ceiling over wooden strips are following:
- The material is mixed with water to a workable consistency.
- Plaster of Paris is applied to the underside of the laths over the rabbit wire mesh in panels of suitable size and finished to a smooth surface by steel trowels.
- The plaster is applied in such a way that it fills the gaps fully between the laths and the thickness over the laths.
- The joints are finished flush to make the ceiling in one piece.
- The finished surface is smooth and true to plane, slopes or curves as required.
