| The specifications of frame in POP ceiling over wooden strips are following: |

| The frame work shall be specified in wooden shape and frame. |
|
| In case of slopping, roofs wooden battens of suitable section shall be fixed firmly as main supports to the underside of the tie beams by means of bolts and nuts. |
|
| In case of flat roofs, the battens shall be fixed securely to the walls and pillars by holding down bolts. |
|
| The battens shall be fastened to the slabs above with iron straps and encroached therein. |
|
| Cross battens of 50 * 40 mm at 40 cm centers so shall then be fixed at right angels to the main battens. |
|
| The frame work shall be treated with approved wooden preservatives before it is covered with ceiling. |
|
The underside of the frame work shall be true to planes and slopes. | |
