What are the specifications of wooden strips in case of POP ceiling over wooden strips?

The specifications of wooden strips in POP ceiling over wooden strips are following:
  • Wooden strips of 25 * 6 of first class Kail wood are fixed to cross battens in the parallel rows with gaps of 10 mm between the adjacent rows with felt headed nails.
  • The strips are fixed as butt joint and not overlapped.
  • The joints are staggered.
  • The minimum length of strips is 1.5 m depending upon the length of strips required.
