| The recommended method of finishing for terrazzo tile flooring is as follows: |

| Let the bedding mortar(mixture) set for 24 hours . |
|
|
| During this period no one should be allowed to walk on the tiles. |
|
| All the joints should be cleaned of the gray cement grout with a wire brush or trowel. |
|
|
| All the dust and loose mortar should be removed and cleaned. |
|
| Joints should be pointed with gray or white cement mixed with or without pigment to match the shade of the topping of the wearing layer of the tile. |
|
| If any tile is disturbed or damaged, it should be replaced, properly joined and polished. |
|
| The finished floor should not sound hollow when tapped with a wooden hammer. |
