The beading is plained smooth for overall exposed faces and is true to the rear face fixed centrally over the butt joints between the two boards with iron screws in two rows. | |
The spacing of screws in each row is 20 cm centers. | |
The screws are passed through the beading, ceiling board followed by ceiling rafters with a minimum grip of 25 mm in the latter. | |
Where the beading is fixed to the board above for ornamental purpose, there is no frame work scants above. | |
Then the beading is fixed with screws driven through the full depth of the board. | |
The screws should be approved before fixing. | |
The screws should be slotted counter sunk head type and their designation number should not be less than eight. | |
The screws are oiled before insertion. | |
The screws are inserted through screw driver. The use of hammer for fixing the screws is not permissible in any case. | |
The screws are driven slightly counter sunk below the surface of the beading. | |
